NASA’s next planet hunter is ready to find undiscovered worlds

Scheduled for launch this month, NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will embark on a two-year mission to seek out new exoplanets close to Earth and, possibly, even evidence of extraterrestrial life.
