Elon Musk Faces Trial in Shareholder Case Over 2018 Tesla Buyout Tweets

Musk claimed in a 2018 tweet that he had lined up the financing to pay for a buyout of Tesla, fueling a short rally in Tesla stock. The buyout never materialized and Musk will have to explain the claim under oath.
