Navy plans to build 15 new Constellation-class frigates in next 5 years

Firing over-the-horizon deck-launched missiles, launching electronic warfare (EW) attacks, intercepting incoming enemy fire, and serving as a crucial information “node” across a networked surface, air and undersea force are but merely a few of the Navy’s intended missions for its emerging fleet of new frigates.
