Twitter targets white nationalists and far-right activists in de-verification purge

Twitter removed the “verification” check marks from a number of white nationalists and far-right activists at a purge on Wednesday, a week after the platform came under fire for verifying an open white nationalist who organized fatal white nationalist rally in Charlottesville in August.
